Bumpday Monday

Week: 5

How Big is Baby: Baby is the size of an apple seed. The Bump says "Your embryo is now measurable -- though at week five, it's a wee .13 inches -- and she's gearing up for much more growth. In fact, in the next week, she'll almost double in size. Grow baby grow!  The embryo doesn't look like much more than a tadpole right now, but at five weeks, she's already starting to form major organs (heart, stomach, liver, kidney) and systems (digestive, circulatory, nervous)."

Weight Gain: I didn't weigh myself today. I was afraid of a Memorial Day weekend gain. I'll weigh next week.

Gender: Chris and I both think it's a boy, but we'd be happy with either sex and I would LOVE to have a girl.

Names: We have both of our names picked out, but I don't want to put them out there yet. Maybe in a few weeks.

Symptoms: Still very tired, peeing frequently and had a couple days of cramping but overall I feel fine.

Sleep: Sleep has been ok. I get up once a night to pee, but I can go right back to sleep after so it's not really bothering me.

Movement: too early for that, but I can't wait!

Maternity Clothes: none

Food Cravings: It's not really a craving, but I want to eat cream cheese and chive cracker sandwiches all the time. I usually eat two packs a day.

Food Aversions: none

Stretchmarks: none

What I'm Looking Forward To: my first drs appointment!

What I Miss: nothing yet

Next Drs Appointment: I haven't called to make it yet. Chris switched jobs and his new insurance doesn't start til June 8th so I'm waiting til then to call.

Best Moment of the Week: going to the lake for Memorial Day weekend with Chris, my parents and sister and realizing next year there will be a baby with us! We also went to the outlet mall and we bought a couple things. I'll post about them this week.
