We have a crib!

Chris put our crib together yesterday!

How much packaging does one crib need?!

Tons of packaging!

Putting together a crib tires Whiskey out.

Crib and dresser!

Dresser!

We just have one more dresser to put in the nursery and then all the furniture will be in there! The crib and dresser will need to be moved around, but there is still a guest bed in there that needs to be moved before we can arrange everything. Basement work is supposed to start next week, fingers crossed! I am so ready to have that done so I can get serious about the nursery.

18 & 19 Bump

Week: 19

How Big is Baby: Baby is the size of a mango! The bump says "At about 6.0 inches long and weighing in at about 8.5 ounces, she's getting there! Developing a protective coating over her skin, called vernix caseosa. It's greasy and white and you may see some of it at her birth. Working on her five senses. Nerve cells for her sense of taste, hearing, sight and smell are developing in her brain ."

Weight Gain: I'm not exactly sure. I think between 7 and 10 lbs. I will find out for sure Monday at my Dr appt.

Gender: BOY!

Names: We have a name! We aren't sharing until baby is born tho.

Symptoms: Sciatic nerve pain and lower back pain. I'm also really tired again.

Sleep: Sleep has been great. I don't wake up at all during the night and have no trouble falling asleep.

Movement: He's been moving a lot more and all movements are getting stronger. I love it!

Maternity Clothes: I'm pretty much only wearing maternity clothes now and my regular cardigans and a few shirts.

Food Cravings: I've been craving soft serve icecream the past couple weeks. Still eating Reese's egg often, too. Chris bought be a ton of them for Valentine's day.

Food Aversions: Nothing.

Stretchmarks: some light ones around my belly button. I'm sure they will darken up soon, great.

What I'm Looking Forward To: my next ultrasound on Feb 18th

What I Miss: nothing.

Next Drs Appointment:  Feb 18 for the anatomy scan.

Best Moment of the Week: getting more boy things and settling on a name.

18 weeks is the grey shirt and 19 weeks is the green shirt

18w3d Update

I have lots to update on so I thought I would just do one big post with tons of pictures.

1. Our anatomy scan is a week from Monday! I am so excited to see baby boy again. I really hope he is still a he. We got a really good shot at our last ultrasound, but I keep hearing about people who where told one thing, and then next time were told something different.

2. We have a name! We aren't sharing, but we are 100% certain of the name of our little love. My sister suggested it and Chris and I both instantly fell in love with it. It is perfect. She is the only one with the privilege of knowing. I trust that she will keep her trap shut : )

3. The nursery has been cleaned out, kind of. Last weekend I took everything out of the nursery that no longer belongs in there, except for the guest bed. We are finishing half our basement and turning it into a guest room. Work should begin on that in the next couple weeks. We are next on our contractors list so I'm getting excited. I took everything down to the basement and put it on the side that won't be getting finished. The bed is staying put until it's all done though. My parents bought us the bedding we decided on and all of our furniture is bought. I am so ready to put it all together. We are also leaving the room the color it is. It's a sage green color and it matches the bedding perfectly.

Before

The book case is staying right there. I cleaned off the top of it though.

After

Everything that is on the bed is baby's.

Love seeing all his little clothes!

Bedding. My favorite animal is a hippo, so this was perfect.

It comes with the comforter, fitted sheet, dust ruffle, musical mobile, wearable blanket and changing pad cover.

4. I have ordered all the newborn diapers we will be ordering. I decided on 16 All in Ones with snaps and 17 pockets with velcro. They should all be to me by the middle of March. I buy all of my diapers from co-ops because I can no afford $20 per diaper, that is why they take longer to get to me.

10 velcro I have gotten so far.

5. I also wanted to show a couple other things I have bought recently that I love. I didn't realize how much I loved little boy clothes until it was time to start buying things. I think little boy things are just as cute as little girl.
I ordered these four things online today from Kohls, that's why they are screen shots. Kohls was having a really good sale today. I ordered $96 worth of stuff and got it for $53, plus I'll get $10 back in Kohls cash and $3.50 back in ebates for ordering online. And, I used a giftcard, so even better. I ordered a couple other things not pictured. When it all comes in I'll take real life pictures.

I ordered this penguin hat a couple weeks ago, when I was ordering maternity pants from Old Navy. The hat is Gap and was onsale plus a 20% off coupon. Chris loves penguins and really loves that this hat has flippers haha.

I ordered this from Old Navy when I ordered maternity pants too. It's so soft.

Another one of Chris's favorite things is crabs, so we had to buy this when we saw it.

I got this robe and booties with Kohls cash awhile back. So cute!

That's all I can think of that needs updated. I will do belly pictures on Wednesday since I didn't post about it this week. Also, if you haven't checked out HeadsUpGirlsBaby the 30% off code BabyBotts is still valid until   Feb 21st.

First DIY Project & 30% off code!

I received DIY closet dividers in the mail today that I ordered from HeadsUpGirlsBaby on Etsy. As soon as I brought them in, I immediately got to work.  The seller included a My First Valentine's onesie sticker. It's so cute and I can't wait to use it next year!

This is how they came. Cute packaging!

Easy to follow instructions.

All laid out. It came with 6 plastic rings and 6 stickers. The stickers are newborn. 0-3, 3-6, 6-9, 9-12 and 12-24. My package only came with stickers for the fronts, because I ordered the ones that were on sale and  those only had stickers for the front. I was kind of bummed about that so I messaged her asking if they should have came with stickers for the back too. She explained that the ones she packages now do come with fronts and backs, but the ones that were on sale only had backs. She is sending me backs though and has been amazing to work with.

I cut out the circles in the middle and all around the big circle and then took off the backing and stuck them on. Easy peasy. The stickers are extremely sticky though so make sure you put it down where you want it because they aren't budging after they are placed.

Baby boy's closet! Love all the little clothes he has so far!
