Slim Down Saturday

I had my two week check up today to look at my incision. She said it looks good and that I can start doing some light walking. I've decided to do a weekly weight loss/exercise check in since I am now able to get out of the house more.

I gained 48! pounds while I was pregnant. Yikes! In two weeks I've lost 34.6 lbs. I have 13.4 more to go until I'm at my prepregnancy weight. Once I get there I will then decide if I want to lose more. I feel like I'm going to need to lose more than that to fit into my old clothes. My body shape has definitely changed.

I'm hoping posting every week will help keep me accountable.

  1. You look amazing! I lost the weight from having Norah fast but my body shape is still very different. I swear every month I am slowly getting closer to what I used to look like and it has been just under a year. Oliver is adorable of course :)

  2. It took me a few months to lose the 42 pounds I gained with my son but I eventually lost every pound plus 20 more. Breastfeeding is truly miraculous!! I never got the "perkiness" back though...everything looked a little saggy :(. This time, I'm trying not to care!!
