Yikes. I am a bad blogger. I have a million things to blog about too, but am just lazy I suppose.

I think I'll just do a big picture post to get caught up.

My mom and I made 20 burp cloths. I used flannel on one side and minky on the other. We made three different sizes.

Put away. They still need washed, but I wanted to see how they fit in the dresser.

Here are the diapers I have so far. I spent the whole afternoon prepping them.

THX Newborn All in Ones
Velcro Alva Newborn
The first four are Grovia and then 7 JC Trade and the black is Alva
Our guest room in the basement will be finished tomorrow, so I'll blog about that later this week. The crib and both dressers are set up. They just need rearranged in the nursery after we move out the guest room furniture.

We registered on Saturday at Babies R Us. That was a lot of fun. My first shower is in exactly two months! I can't wait.
Before registering. 22w3d
I don't think I ever blogged about the anatomy scan either. Everything was great. We had to go two times, because the first time their machine wasn't working and she could only see the heart and limbs. The next time was so much better. We got to see baby for an hour and a half and everything was perfect. His little legs were measuring a week behind and his big ol belly was measuring two weeks ahead. We've got a short fat baby right now. Sucha cutie.

legs and feet
nostril, ear and neck
Cute little nose, puckered lips and skinny neck : )
And finally, since this post isn't long enough, here are some pictures of a couple things we've gotten lately from other people.

He has so many shoes

Little peacoat!

I can't wait to have the dressers situated so I can organize.

I think I am now finally caught up!

  1. You better be glad I'm not having a boy, otherwise I would SO be stealing that owl hat.

As it is, I'm going to make my MIL make me one! :-)
